Lanny Smith – CEO, Founder
A graduate from the University of Houston with a Kinesiology degree, Lanny went on to play in the NBA Development League, NBA Summer League with the Houston Rockets, and was the last cut of the Sacramento Kings in 2009. His mother Alfreda, raised him in the church and his faith has been an important part of his life and career since an early age. Lanny believes the creation of Active Faith Sports was a task he was blessed to be given as it has allowed him to merge his faith and his love for sports.

Kirbi Thomas – COO, Partner
Kirbi has been a lifelong friend of Lanny Smith and shared in the passion for the creation of Active Faith Sports. Stepping out on faith herself, Kirbi left her job as a teacher in Atlanta to move back to Houston and help build the company. A decorated Christian athlete herself, Kirbi was a volleyball, basketball, and track star in Houston before heading to Spelman College where she graduated with an English degree. With her MBA from TSU, Kirbi wears several hats with Active Faith as she is over operations, order fulfillment, and head of the women’s apparel line.
 
Anthony Tolliver – Partner, Ambassador
He is a current NBA player and a former teammate of Lanny Smith in the NBA Development League. As a fellow Christian athlete, Anthony and Lanny clicked as teammates. Anthony was one of the first people Lanny told about the idea and vision for Active Faith Sports and he immediately joined the mission to bring the idea to fruition.
