Scott and Gena Doss live in Buda, Texas, with their little girl, Roxli, who is 10-years-old. She is like most girls her age, she loves being outdoors, hanging out with her friends, and is even an avid horseback rider. So when she started having headaches that wouldn't go away, her parents started to worry.

“It was in early June [2018] Rox started having headaches and the headaches developed into nausea and she even had double vision,” said her dad, Scott, to KVUE ABC. They took her to doctors who diagnosed their little girl with a brain tumor. The condition, Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), is not only extremely aggressive, but there is also no cure.
With devastating news like this, it is difficult to see God's plan. But even with this news, the Doss family leaned on Him, praying for a miracle.
When asked about how they were able to move forward, Scott shared this with KVUE ABC, “the doctors guide us, but really the true guidance that we’re looking for is from God because that’s who we need our help from right now, and we’re really just praying for a miracle.”
